Oh snap

Remember, kids: Listen to your readers.

I hadn't quite gotten around to putting scary modules on my tower to ward off nuisance wardecs, and seem to have pulled one.



In theory just onlining guns should make it too much of a pain to bother killing, but I've contracted some mercs to make it a sure thing.

  1. Guns won't be enough. It's easy to disable them while having couple logistics.

    What you need is several guns and loads of ECM + sensor damps+hardeners. Caldari tower has bonus to ECM cycle time - use it!

    It's also called dickstar for a reason.

    My setup is as follows, with majority offlined, all should be onlined once they wardec you:
    - 2 medium pulses
    - 4 small pulses
    - 8 sensor damps
    - 2 scrams
    - 4 ECM each, total 16 (probably can concentrate on Amarr with couple Gallente)
    - 3 kinetic hardeners
    - 2 explosive hardeners
    - 2 thermal hardeners
    - 4 EM hardeners

    No one with sane mind would engage such tower.

    For repping, you can use Ospreys in pairs:

  2. If you're in hisec, you should definately had ECM and hardeners anchored at all times. The investment is well worth the effort. If you get a greif-dec, disable everything you don't need and enable all the hardeners and ecm. Unless you are facing a very large corp/ally, you're pretty much save.

  3. I believe the tower is in high sec and they war deced you.

    When I see a war dec I generally online all the guns and get the corporation into war mode.

    When the corporation is off I have a fitting with high resist + ECM

    3 x EW ECM - Ion Field Projection
    4 x EW ECM - Phase Inversion
    4 x EW ECM - Spatial Destabilization
    4 x EW ECM - White Noise Generator
    4 x Shield Hardener - Ballistic Deflection
    3 x Shield Hardener - Explosion Dampening
    6 x Shield Hardener - Heat Dissipation
    6 x Shield Hardener - Photon Scattering

    Hopping that will take them some time so we can wake up and defend our asset.

    When we are online (we have 3-10 starbase defence characters with the skill at 4 meaning 12-40 modules actively used)

    We have a full gun Tower fitting.

    1 x Corporate Hangar Array
    4 x EW - Stasis Webification Battery
    2 x EW - Warp Disruption Battery
    3 x EW ECM - Ion Field Projection
    3 x EW ECM - Phase Inversion
    3 x EW ECM - Spatial Destabilization

    you must have offline one more set of those.

    The concept is primary and secondary takes one point and two stasis
    The ECM and Neuts are killing the remote rep and the gunners hits with a countdown for alpha whatever the target is.
    now that you are in RF mode

    Put up as many resist and ECM you can and let some logistic t1 or t2 do their job.
    have your stront ready to go and don't stop repairing your tower at 50% do the job right.

    tip : let some out of corp anchor some cans near the guns/modules.

    Yup. Make it an NPC corp character. If they smartbomb cans in highsec, CONCORD will be angry with them.
